Small Ensemble Performance Application

Deadline for Submission - January 13, 2012

  1. Only College ensembles may apply.
  2. Directors of the collegiate ensembles applying to perform mini concerts during the State Music Conference should be active members of TMEA.
  3. Student performers who are not registered CNAfME members may receive a guest passes to attend the TMEA conference for that one day.
  4. The selection process is based on “first come, first served” as well as concern for balanced representation. Ensembles directed by TMEA members receive priority; others will be considered on a space available basis.
  5. All applications must be submitted by November 1st to be considered.
  6. Directors will be notified of the final selection and assignment.
  7. Those selected will be asked to provide a photograph of the group and a short bio before February 1st (in electronic format) for inclusion in the spring (pre-conference) issue of the magazine and the official conference program.

Incomplete forms will not be considered.

Note on equipment: Groups are expected to bring their own music stands and all other equipment that would be needed for their performance.

*Groups directed by active TMEA members will be given priority in the selection process. Groups directed by non-TMEA members will be considered only if space is available.
