Mary Ann Stephens Moses Mary Ann Stephens Moses was TMEA President from 1994 through 1996. Among her great many successful activities as President, Ms. Moses orchestrated a special 50th Anniversary year celebration culminating with a very successful inservice conference in Nashville. She was serving a two-year term as Past President and had the position of Conference General Chair for the 1997 TMEA/Southern Division Conference when she passed away suddenly in the spring of 1997. While taking such major leadership responsibilities with TMEA, Ms. Moses was also an outstanding choral teacher at Clarksville High School and served as Director of Music at the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville. The Hall of Fame award was received posthumously by her daughter, Cayce Stephens.
