Open Call for 2020 TMEA Conference: Performance Groups

STEP 1
When you click on the button at the bottom of the page that says "click here to apply" it will take you to the TMEA page of an online application platform called "Acceptd". All of the application instructions are on this page. Follow the prompts on the right hand side of the screen and click on the green button that says "get started". On the left side of the screen chose the type of application you wish to begin: INSTRUMENTAL or VOCAL.

When you get to this screen, you will need to create an account. Click on "Sign Up" and you will be prompted to enter your email address and create a password. You will then be able to log in and begin the application. Be sure to use an email address that you check often as it will be used for all correspondence.

STEP 3
When you get to this screen you will be asked to choose a school. Please choose "Tennessee Music Education Association".

STEP 4
Complete all required (*) fields within the online application.
Upload the required recordings in audio-only format. Please DO NOT include any identifiable information (name, program, etc.) when naming your files.
Please be prepared to upload biographical information (in the form of a Word document) for both the director and ensemble, as well as a photo of both parties. If ensembles are selected for performance, directors will be expected to update their biographical info and provide a current (2019-2020 school year) picture of the ensemble. All updates must be submitted by the deadline provided by the TMEA editor to be published in the program and the Tennessee Musician.
