Session proposals are now being accepted for the 68th Annual Tennessee Music Education Association Music Education Conference. TMEA invites members from all areas and teaching levels to share ideas, strategies, and practices that support and strengthen music education across Tennessee.

Sessions may focus on pedagogy, rehearsal techniques, advocacy, program development, creativity, or emerging trends in the field. Proposals that offer practical takeaways, innovative thinking, and meaningful impact for educators and students are encouraged.

All submissions will be reviewed through a selection process designed to ensure a balanced, high-quality conference program that reflects the diverse needs and interests of TMEA members.

Consider sharing your expertise and contributing to the professional learning of music educators across the state by submitting a session proposal.

Before you begin this application you will need to provide two references (names, email addresses, and cell phone numbers) to support this interest session proposal application.

Please note that all professional development session proposal applicants that have presented at the TMEA Music Education Conference in 2025 and 2026 are not eligible to apply at this time.

The deadline to submit applications to present is Friday, May 1st, 2026

Notification for accepted sessions will be sent out by or before the end of May.
