Keeping the Beat

Keeping the Beat is TMEA’s virtual professional learning series, created to provide music educators with accessible, relevant professional development throughout the year.

Originally launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, We are excited to bring back Keeping the Beat as a way for TMEA to expand access to professional learning beyond the annual conference. TMEA board members help coordinate and arrange sessions that respond to the needs and interests of music educators across Tennessee.

Keeping the Beat is part of TMEA’s ongoing commitment to promote the advancement of high quality music education for all by providing accessible professional learning opportunities for music educators across Tennessee.
