​We are pleased to invite you to exhibit at the 68th Annual Tennessee Music Education Association Conference. Thank you for your continued support of music education in our state. Below you will find key exhibitor information for the 2027 event as well as several updates that will enhance your experience.

Highlights of the 2027 Conference

​

A New January Conference Experience

The 68th Annual TMEA Music Education Conference is moving to January 13–16, 2027, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville. This change provides exhibitors with a valuable opportunity to connect with music educators and decision-makers earlier in the school year, when purchasing plans and program needs are still being developed.

 

Moving away from the April conference also helps reduce conflicts with state testing and other spring responsibilities, making it easier for educators to participate.

Expanded Student Programming

The 2027 conference will feature an expanded lineup of student ensembles, bringing even more educators, students, parents, and families to the conference.

Student programming will include:

• Elementary Ensembles: Treble Honor Choir and the new Tennessee Orff Ensemble

• Middle School Honor Ensembles: Choir, String Orchestra, and Band

• All-State Ensembles: 9–10 SATB Choir, 11–12 SSAA Choir, 11–12 SATB Choir, 11–12 TTBB Choir, String Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Band, and 9–10 and 11–12 Concert Bands

With increased student participation, exhibitors can expect more opportunities to connect with teachers, administrators, students, and families throughout the conference.

Expanded Parent & Family Access

TMEA is expanding its Parent Chaperone Pass options, providing families with access to the exhibit hall. This creates an additional audience for exhibitors offering instruments, accessories, technology, fundraising solutions, and other resources for music programs.

​

Dedicated Exhibit Hall Time & Amenities

The exhibit hall will remain an important part of the conference experience, with dedicated time built into the schedule to encourage meaningful interaction between exhibitors and attendees.

​

New for 2027, the exhibit hall will also feature eateries, giving attendees additional reasons to visit and spend time in the hall throughout the conference.

​

Two Product Showcase Spaces

Exhibitors looking for a more focused environment to demonstrate their products and services will have access to two dedicated Product Showcase spaces.

These spaces are ideal for:

• Product demonstrations

• Technology previews

• Small-group presentations

Additional information about reserving Product Showcase space will be available through the exhibitor registration process.

Opportunities for Colleges & Universities

The January conference provides colleges and universities with a unique opportunity to connect with students, educators, and families early in the college planning process. Through TMEA’s Higher Education Institutional Membership (HEIM) initiative, the conference continues to strengthen connections between higher education programs and the next generation of music educators.

​

With expanded student programming and increased opportunities to engage pre-service teachers, colleges and universities can showcase their music programs, campuses, and opportunities to prospective students while building relationships with students and families as they consider their next steps in music education.
